Therefore the acronym CEME actually stands for ‘Computer Electronic Meets Electronic’. The reason for this is that the majority of the syllabus deals with the history of computers and computer technology, and the design, manufacture, sale and use of the machines.

In addition, the acronym CEME stands for Computer Engineering. To give you an idea of the difference between the two acronyms, the former refers to the discipline of science that studies how machines work. On the other hand, the latter stands for mathematics, and the emphasis is on the technology used to create the machines.
